Crossroads Community, Inc. and Corsica River Mental Health Services, Inc. are excited to announce the 5th annual "True Colors" Mental Health Awareness Art Show. We invite artists from the Eastern Shore community and beyond to participate. The show will be held at the Todd Performing Arts Center at Chesapeake College from October 8 to October 12, 2024, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. A reception will take place on October 11, from 4 PM to 7 PM, with free admission, live music, and light refreshments for all attendees.
Artists of all ages are encouraged to submit their work, including paintings, drawings, photography, sculptures, mosaics, and poems. Digital art submissions are also welcome and will be displayed on TV screens in the lobby. Please ensure each piece is labeled. All 2D artwork should have a hanging wire for display, and tables will be available for 3D pieces. Additionally, we are seeking artists interested in performing live at the Todd Performing Arts Center theater. Artists may choose to donate their work or exhibit it for the week. The submission deadline is October 1, 2024. All artists must complete the submission form.
PRIZES FOR BEST IN SHOW
First place $250, second place $200 and third place $150.
