Crossroads Community is a nonprofit organization providing behavioral health rehabilitation and case management services to residents of the five mid-shore counties on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. For over three decades the staff of Crossroads Community have stood with clients at the intersection, the crossroads, of their behavioral health issues and recovery goals. Help us continue this much needed service with a donation/sponsorship for our first 5K benefitting the dental assistance program.

Depression is complicated. While it effects about 7% of the world's population (it's underreported, so the figures are likely much higher), it most commonly affects people between the ages of 18-25 - about 11%. Digging deeper, depression most often impacts people of two or more races, and women are 2x as likely to have had a depressive episode as men. Here's a gentle reminder that depression looks and feels different for everyone.
