We believe that early intervention is a key to success for young people with serious emotional disorders. The goal of Crossroads' Child and Adolescent services is to help children achieve success and to assist in maintaining the family unit.
Rehabilitation services include one-on-one mentoring and skill development groups focused on resiliency and character enhancement.
Eligibility for rehabiliation services includes meeting medical necessity criteria as specified by Maryland's Mental Hygiene Administration. Referrals must be made by the individual's therapist or psychiatrist.
Children in the Kent County school system identified to be at risk are provided services in school through our Therapeutic Mentoring program. Referral is through the school system or Local Management Board.
